Application for certification of the Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal access regime (Draft recommendation)

On 16 March 2011 the Council released its draft recommendation on the application for certification of the Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal access regime. The Council proposes to recommend that the Commonwealth Minister certify the regime as effective for a period of 10 years.

The Council invites interested parties to make written submissions on the draft recommendation. As noted in the Council's Guide to Making a Submission, (available under the Application tab to the left) submissions on a draft recommendation should focus on the preliminary conclusions reached by the Council and the reasons for these and seek to provide information and analysis additional to that already available to the Council. Repetition of points that have been made earlier is unlikely to be of assistance. The closing time and date for submissions is 5.00pm on Monday 18 April 2011.

Submissions (with a completed cover sheet) should be emailed (in both MS Word and PDF formats) to the Council at dbct@ncc.gov.au with a hard copy sent to:

The Council will consider submissions on the draft recommendation in developing its final recommendation to the Commonwealth Minister.
