Application for light regulation of the Kalgoorlie to Kambalda Pipeline
On 22 April 2010 the Council received an application from Southern Cross Pipelines Australia Pty Ltd (a wholly owned subsidiary within the APA Group) under the National Gas Law for the light regulation of the covered Kalgoorlie to Kambalda Pipeline in Western Australia. The public version of the application (excluding material the applicant has identified as confidential) is available under the application tab.
The Council invited written submissions on the application from interested parties. The submission period closed on 18 May 2010. The Council did not receive any submissions in response to the application.
On 1 June 2010 the Council released its draft determination and statement of reasons in favour of light regulation of the Kalgoorlie Kambalda Pipeline. Interested parties were invited to make written submissions in response to the Council's draft determination. The closing date for submissions was 23 June 2010. The Council did not receive any submissions in response to the draft recommendation.
On 29 June 2010 the Council released its final determination and statement of reasons in favour of light regulation of the Kalgoorlie Kambalda Pipeline. The determination comes into force 60 business days from 29 June 2010.
